We would like to extend our thanks to everyone who attended this year’s Dog Show, one of the exclusive events held for the residents of Lambton Park.

Held in The Walled Garden, the event benefitted from excellent weather and attracted a wonderful turnout, with 26 dogs in attendance (including Tiggy the Flat-Coated Retriever, pictured above).

Throughout the afternoon, participants competed in a variety of fun classes, from Dog with the Waggiest Tail and Best Trick to Golden Oldie and Best Rescue Dog. The standard was exceptionally high, and we were delighted to crown Willow the Golden Retriever as this year’s Overall Lambton Champion.

We are also pleased to announce that, thanks to entry fees and donations, an impressive £225 was raised for Stray Aid UK, a County Durham-based animal welfare charity.

Thank you once again to all those who attended, we hope both owners and dogs enjoyed the afternoon, and we look forward to welcoming you to future events within the park.

The Estate is pleased to share that around 13 benches have now been installed along the Ridge Walk and wider permissive routes, with more still to come in the Paddocks and along Jimmy’s Lane.

Crafted from locally sourced live edge timber, these benches form part of our ongoing improvements to the permissive routes, across the Estate.

We hope the benches provide a place to sit, relax and enjoy some of the wonderful views on the Estate.
